RETURN POLICY
We sell both stock items and made to measure items, please see the correct return policy below for your item...

STANDARD STOCK ITEMS - DAMAGES - we will replace any goods received by the customer in a damaged condition, any damages should be reported to us by email within 5 days of receipt of the goods. RETURNS - we accept returns within 7 working days of receipt of goods. The buyer is responsible for the return postage. The buyer should notify us via email that they are returning the goods.

MADE TO MEASURE ITEMS - DAMAGES - we will replace any goods received by the customer in a damaged condition, any damages should be reported to us by email within 5 days of receipt of the goods. RETURNS - for goods that are made to measure to the customer's specifications we cannot accept responsibility for items that do not fit due to incorrect information given when ordering, or for any subsequent change of mind by the customer and refunds will not be given (however please contact us as we always try to help put things right at minimal cost).

  Q:How are my goods delivered?
A: Complete blinds and vertical blind rails are despatched on an overnight courier. They will deliver to your door and request a signature. Very often they can leave a parcel with a neighbour. They will attempt to deliver your parcel three times and if unsuccessful they will leave a card instructing you to contact your local depot.
When receiving your parcel please sign for the parcel as “UNCHECKED” this will allow us to claim from our carriers for any damage that you might later find. If you just sign for the parcel and do not write “UNCHECKED” you are accepting that it has arrived in good condition and we cannot be held responsible for any damages discovered later.

Orders of Parts and vertical slats only are generally sent via the Royal Mail or Myhermes (although we do send them by carrier if it is a large/heavy order), we will notify you by email when we despatch the goods, if you do not receive the goods shortly afterwards we recommend you check to see if your local sorting office is holding the parcel, as very occasionally, we have found that the postman leaves the parcel at the sorting office stating that a card has been left. If they do not have the parcel please contact us.

  Q:Are your fabrics washable?
A:Most of our fabrics are NOT washable, they should be wiped clean with a damp cloth only. If a fabric is washable it will be marked with 'washable fabric' on our website. All our vertical blind louvres are stitched, except our blackout fabrics, on these we use a speial double sided tape, which we have been using this method for 10 years and have never had a problem.

Q:Do you combine shipping?
A: If you live in mainland England, or lowlands of Scotland, delivery is FREE. If you live outside of this area, please email us with your full address and post code if you have one, blindsparesonline@fsmail.net

Q:When can I expect my order to arrive?
A:As soon as we receive your order we endeavour to manufacture your blinds and despatch by courier within 5 full business days but we ask you to allow up to 10 The couriers generally deliver next day. If you are buying spare parts then we usually despatch within 24hrs.

Q:How do i fit my blinds
A:These are very easy to fix with a normal household drill and a screw driver. As we dont know what you are fitting into i.e upvc, plaster, brick etc. we do not supply screws. Have a look on You Tube for videos on how to fit blinds or email us at blindsparesonline@fsmail.net

Q:Do you ship internationally?
A:At the moment we dont as the cost of delivery can be prohibitive. If you require an overseas delivery then please email us and we will be happy to quote you based on the size of your requirements.

Q:Can I cut my blinds down to size?
A:The beauty of buying from us is that we manufacture your blind to the sizes you give to us. This saves you the hassle of cutting the rail and louvres to size. We do also manufacture ready made blinds that you can cut to size your self.

Q:I already have vertical blinds but I need new louvers/ slats
A:That is no problem. Just look on our listings. we normally have replacement slats for sale. If we dont have the colour or the fabric that you want then email us. We have over thousands of metres of fabric in stock. We are sure to have something you like.

Q:Do you supply the trade?
A:Yes we do. If you would like to buy of us regularly then please get in touch, We supply carpet companies, curtain companies, interior designers, landlords, builders and even other blinds companies. We have a fantastic catalogue of fabrics, please email us for further details.

Q:Can I see a sample of the material before I buy?
A:No Problem at all. We strongly advise ordering samples if you have any doubt as to the shade of the fabric you are ordering. Please email us with your postal address and which fabrics and colours you require.

Q:What screws should i use to fit the blinds?
A:If you are going to fix into UPVC windows, like conservatories we would use a size 8 self-tapper around an inch long.If you are fitting into wood, use wood screws. For brick use a 8mm masonry drill bit, a red rawl plug and a size 8 screw. for steel lintels drill a pilot hole 3mm then use a self tapping size 6 or 8 screw


Q:Can I collect my blinds.
A:Yes you can collect by arrangement, Our factory is open for collection Monday to Friday 9am till 4pm. Be sure to ring us first to arrange a suitable time. 01544 318488

Q:Your measuring guide gives two options, recess or exact?
A:You should only give us exact size if you are NOT fitting into a recess, for example a conservatory. More often than not you would give us recess size. Do not deduct anything yourself from this measurement as we deduct up to 12mm during production to allow the blind to operate without hitting obstructions.
